Traditional Lignum Vitae Wooden Carver’s & Joiner’s Mallets (BTC)

Mallets come in all shapes and sizes. Traditionally speaking, turned mallets are associated with carving and cabinetmakers and joiners use mallets with flat faces. While you would not use a joiner’s mallet for carving, you can certainly use a round mallet for joinery. It is a matter of personal taste.

These Lignum mallets are traditional carver’s or joiner’s mallets, they arebeautifully crafted mallets and they should last for generations. Handle turned from ash, shaped for comfort and ease of use. The head is made from true Lignum Vitae.

Note: These mallets are hand made and the dimensions are only approximate. Also the colour and grain of the wood could vary. The pictures are just a reference.
